The face is part of the body that people notice first. So we all want a pretty and toned face. Chubby cheeks, double chin, and facial fat make our face look unattractive, therefore, facial exercises are as important as body exercises.
Here are some exercises for your face.
Cheekbone roll exercise
On the depression under the cheekbones put the index finger, the fingertips should be horizontal to your nostrils and vertical to your pupils. In a clockwise direction start rotating the fingertips and keep doing this for a minute. Repeat this exercise twice per day. It is great for your cheeks.
Sit on a chair, the spine should be straight. Try tilting your head back, facing the ceiling. Pucker the lips and try blowing out air from the mouth. Try doing this 5-10 sec, then pause and repeat 15-20 times. This is great for the double chin and chubby cheeks.
Stuck in the cheeks, making a fish face and smile. Keep this position for 5 seconds relax and repeat it 15-20 times. You will reduce the flabbiness and stretch the muscles in the cheeks.
This exercise is opposite to the previous one. Blow air in the mouth and push outwards. Hold the position for ½ a minute. Relax and repeat this 10 times. Do this exercise minimum twice per day.
First fill one of the cheeks with air and then move the air to the other one. Do this for 60 seconds and then relax. Repeat the exercise 5-10 times.
Push-and smile exercise
Stretch the face around your cheekbones back with the palms and smile as much as you can. Hold for 5 seconds and then release. Repeat this exercise 10 times twice per day.
Exercises for your jaw and chin
Tip your neck backward, looking at the ceiling. Your mouth should be open as much as you can. Lower and raise your jaw 12 times in an open-closed motion.
Then relax and tip the neck on the left. Do the same exercise with your mouth, relax and then tip the neck to the right and repeat the same exercise. do 3 sets of 12 every day.
Cover the upper with the lower lip. Tilt the head back looking at the ceiling and try smiling with the lower lip for 5 seconds. Repeat this 5 times each day.
With your eyes closed, tilt the head faced towards the ceiling to the right and then slowly move your head to the left. Repeat this 10 times relax and repeat twice per day.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Don’t eat processed foods.
- Don’t drink alcohol and don’t smoke.
- Exercise regularly.
- Sleep eight hours per night.
- Eat foods low in sugars and fat.
